Hot Shots is a basketball skills competition for youth that involves shooting from five "hot spots" marked on one end of the court. The competition tests each participant's speed, shooting, dribbling and rebounding ability.



Winners of the Gorham contest will be invited to the regional competition, TBA

TIMES HAVE BEEN MOVED UP TO NOON FOR BOYS AND 1PM FOR GIRLS, DUE TO THE FOOTBALL GAME!!

General Information
  • Sunday, Jan 24
  • 12pm for Boys
  • 1pm for Girls
  • FREE (but you MUST REGISTER ONLINE BY FRIDAY, JAN 22)
  • There are six(6) age/sex categories for competition in the M.R.P.A./Red Claws Hot Shot Competition. A participant’s age is as of March 31st of the competition year. The categories are:
  • A Girl’s Division (28.5” ball)
  • 1. 9-10 year olds
  • 2. 11-12 year olds
  • 3. 13-15 year olds
  • B. Boy’s Division
  • 4. 9-10 year olds (28.5” ball)
  • 5. 11-12 year olds (28.5” or 29.5” ball, participants choice)
  • 6. 13-15 year olds (29.5” ball)
